Deadline Date: April 20, 2026
The World Intellectual Property Organization is requesting applications to support IP-intensive startups and SMEs in developing effective, growth-oriented intellectual property strategies.
The focus areas of the IPMC include understanding the strategic role of intellectual property in building and sustaining a competitive advantage, identifying and protecting intellectual assets in both physical and digital environments, and using IP to support commercialization, partnerships, and business growth.
The IP Management Clinic is a six-month capacity-building program that provides individualized, expert-guided support tailored to each participating company’s business needs and innovation profile. Selected companies will benefit from three one-on-one mentoring sessions with leading IP experts, five online workshops covering essential business and IP topics such as IP strategy fundamentals for startups, strategic IP protection in Europe, IP commercialization and licensing models, IP valuation and investment readiness, and global IP portfolio management and scaling, as well as networking opportunities with other participants.
This program is open to startups and SMEs from all sectors operating in Lithuania that are IP-intensive, hold or are in the process of securing at least one intellectual property right, and have a team of at least two people. The clinic is designed to help companies leverage their intellectual property strategically to accelerate innovation, strengthen competitive positions, and support investment and business growth.
