Deadline Date: June 15, 2026
The EY launches the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026 program is requesting applications to support and recognize exceptional entrepreneurs in Malaysia as they build transformative and successful businesses.
The focus areas of the program include recognizing entrepreneurs who shape their businesses with care and patience, honoring those who navigate trial and error, failures and successes to realize bold ambitions, celebrating entrepreneurial transformation, weaving innovation and resilience into business practices, and fostering a confident future through exemplary leadership and mastery in entrepreneurship.
This year’s theme, The Shapers, highlights the artistry and precision of entrepreneurship, likened to batik-making, where every layer, color, and detail contributes to creating a successful enterprise. The program recognizes entrepreneurs across four categories: Emerging for nominees aged 35 or under or businesses three to five years old, Woman to honor outstanding women entrepreneurs, Technology for leaders of digital, technology, and multimedia ventures, and Master for entrepreneurs with sustained contributions through businesses over five years old.
Eligible nominees must be Malaysian citizens or permanent residents who are either owner-managers responsible for a privately-held company with at least two years of audited accounts, or founders of listed companies who remain active in top management and retain a significant stake. Nominees are assessed on entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth, and impact, joining a global alumni network of over 30,000 business leaders who have shaped industries and driven innovation.
