The Bet9ja Foundation’s ScaleUp Business Accelerator Program is offering to support early-stage Nigerian businesses by providing the resources, mentorship, and funding needed to accelerate growth and achieve long-term success.
The focus areas of the program include identifying, supporting, and accelerating high-potential Nigerian SMEs and startups, providing non-dilutive grant funding, delivering structured training and mentorship, offering market access, and equipping early-stage businesses with the tools and support needed to scale sustainably while contributing to Nigeria’s economic development.
Selected businesses in the program receive up to ₦3 million in grant funding and participate in the ScaleUp Pitch Challenge, where the winning business is awarded an additional ₦2 million grant. Eligible businesses must be registered in Nigeria, have operated for at least six months, generate revenue, demonstrate clear traction, and show strong scalability potential beyond their current market. Founders must be Nigerian citizens or legal residents, aged between 22 and 40 at the time of application, actively involved in the business, and able to commit to full participation in the 10-week accelerator.
The program welcomes startups and growing businesses across diverse industries, including Agriculture and Agritech, Healthcare Services and HealthTech, Fintech and Financial Services, EdTech and Skills Development, Renewable Energy and CleanTech, Retail and E-commerce, Light Manufacturing and Production, Logistics and Transportation, Fashion and Lifestyle, Professional and Business Services, Hospitality and Tourism, and Creative Industries and Media. Tailored mentorship, access to funding, and strategic growth opportunities are provided to support businesses with sustainable scaling potential.
