Deadline Date: April 21, 2026
The Vinnova is now accepting applications to support the creation of competitive international research and innovation project applications.
The focus of this initiative is to support the development and strengthening of project applications for published international research and innovation calls.
With a planning grant, Swedish small and medium-sized enterprises, academic stakeholders, research institutes, the public sector, and civil society actors can work on preparing proposals for international calls. The planning projects can last up to 12 months and are designed to increase the chances of success in securing international funding.
Applicants can request up to SEK 300,000 if participating as a partner in an international project, or up to SEK 500,000 if coordinating a project that includes at least three actors from three different countries. This funding provides the resources needed to plan, coordinate, and develop strong, competitive applications with Swedish participation.
The initiative aims to make international collaboration more accessible and effective, helping Swedish actors position themselves successfully in global research and innovation opportunities. By providing dedicated support for project preparation, Vinnova ensures that proposals are carefully developed, enhancing their competitiveness and potential impact.
