The Visa Everywhere Pioneers programme 2026 is now open for applications, celebrating entrepreneurial women with refugee backgrounds who are driving positive impact through their businesses.
The programme focuses on supporting entrepreneurial women with refugee backgrounds, providing business mentoring, access to language courses, and financial support through microgrants to help grow their enterprises. Winners will receive €2,000 or £2,000 cash grants, business mentorship, and language course access to strengthen their business skills and market presence.
Now in its fourth year, the Visa Everywhere Pioneers programme honours women whose creativity, innovation, and leadership contribute positively to their local, regional, or national communities. The initiative will select 30 winners for 2026, offering both recognition and practical support to advance their business goals.
Eligible applicants are women aged 18 and over, residing in the 27 EU Member States, Switzerland, Norway, Turkey, Iceland, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, or the United Kingdom, with a product or service already in the market, trading for at least 12 months, and owning at least 51% of a registered business entity with a physical or digital presence.
The programme encourages women entrepreneurs to leverage mentorship, language learning, and microgrant support to expand their business capabilities and drive meaningful impact within their communities, fostering innovation and resilience.
