Deadline Date: May 01, 2026
The Corporate Giving Network Fund offers local groups in Northamptonshire the chance to enhance educational opportunities and promote lifelong learning within their communities.
The fund’s focus areas for 2026 align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, emphasizing ensuring inclusive and equitable education and the promotion of lifelong learning for all. Priority projects include providing additional learning opportunities outside of school such as youth clubs and school holiday activities, encouraging intergenerational learning to strengthen community connections, offering opportunities to learn new practical skills for all ages, and supporting digital inclusion and the development of digital skills.
Northamptonshire-based small charities, constituted community groups, social enterprises such as Community Interest Companies (CICs), or companies limited by guarantee with charitable aims are eligible to apply, provided they meet specific criteria. These include having a small project budget under £20,000, volunteers to support activities who are not part of the management committee, and a written set of rules or constitution containing a dissolution clause specific to Northamptonshire. Applicants must also have measures in place to protect young people and vulnerable participants through a child protection or vulnerable people’s policy.
The fund provides grants of up to £2,000 to enable organizations to implement meaningful and localized educational initiatives. This can include enhancing learning outside formal school settings, creating opportunities for skill development across generations, or bridging gaps in digital literacy to ensure all community members have access to essential digital skills. The emphasis is on fostering inclusive and equitable educational experiences that contribute positively to the broader community.
