The AI Fiqh Hackathon 2026 is calling all innovators, tech enthusiasts, and visionaries to develop AI-powered, Shariah-compliant solutions that redefine Islamic Finance.
The focus areas of this hackathon include creating AI-powered solutions, ensuring Shariah compliance, and innovating within the field of Islamic Finance.
Participants have the opportunity to compete for a total prize pool of RM25,500 along with plaques to recognize their achievements. The grand prize winner will receive RM10,000 and a plaque, the first runner-up will be awarded RM7,000 and a plaque, the second runner-up will take RM5,000 and a plaque, and consolation prizes of RM500 and plaques will be given to teams placing fourth to tenth.
Participation in the AI Fiqh Hackathon 2026 is strictly on a team basis. All participants must be Muslims, Malaysian citizens, and at least 18 years old at the time of registration. Teams must consist of a minimum of two members and a maximum of four members, with all members registered through the official link. The team leader is responsible for providing accurate and complete information for all team members, and the team composition must remain unchanged throughout the program unless prior written approval is obtained from the organiser.
This hackathon provides an exciting platform for teams to collaborate, innovate, and showcase solutions that combine technology with Islamic Finance principles.
