Deadline: July 15, 2026
The focus areas include strengthening internal organisational capability, finance, business planning, asset management, risk management, registration assistance, and improving readiness for social and affordable housing delivery.
The Business Advisory Grants Stream provides time-limited funding to assist registered and emerging community housing organisations in building capacity and preparing for expansion in housing services. The programme is designed to support organisational development rather than ongoing operational costs.
The maximum grant available is $50,000 excluding GST under Round 1. Projects can run for up to 12 months, with possible extensions of up to 18 months where there is a demonstrated need.
Eligible applicants include registered Community Housing Organisations across all tiers, Aboriginal Community Housing Organisations or Aboriginal Controlled Community Organisations, and emerging or aspiring community housing organisations working toward registration or housing service delivery in Western Australia.
The grant does not fund general operating costs such as rent, utilities, insurance, IT support, or office supplies. It also excludes salaries for existing staff, capital works, construction, property acquisition, retrospective costs, or any activity already funded by another source.
Funding cannot be used for costs incurred before the Funding Agreement is signed or for expenses not included in an approved budget unless formally approved through variation.
