Deadline: September 08, 2026
The call supports projects focused on sustainable pharmaceutical manufacturing, sustainable transport, and circularity. Applications must address one or more identified transition needs, including electrification and energy systems, sustainable materials, circular economy, resource efficiency, water management, chemical substitution, and digital solutions for optimizing processes and resource use.
Funding of up to SEK 500,000 is available for validation projects, while up to SEK 1 million is available for test and demonstration projects. Funding is only available to small and medium-sized enterprises, and the project must cover at least 20% of the total project costs.
Large parts of the industrial sector face similar transition challenges, particularly in reducing emissions, improving resource efficiency, and developing carbon-neutral production methods. Collaboration between industrial companies and small or medium-sized enterprises can help create innovative solutions that address these challenges while enabling faster implementation in industrial environments.
To be eligible, applications must be submitted by a consortium consisting of an industrial company acting as the need owner and at least one small or medium-sized enterprise (SME). The industrial partner must have a clearly defined need, financially stable operations, and the organizational capacity to support the SME partner throughout the project.
The partners must have established a collaboration around a well-defined challenge before submitting the application. Foreign innovative SMEs may participate if they contribute unique expertise and knowledge transfer, but they cannot act as the coordinating party. If a foreign company receives funding, the grant will be paid retrospectively.
