Apply for the DayOne Tech, an innovative 12-months program for medtech ventures that brings together universities, corporations, manufacturers, startup founders, research institutes and hospitals to create a dynamic environment to foster innovation.
Ventures in the DayOne Tech profit from the manufacturing industry in the Jura region, where this program takes place. Each startup has different needs depending on its stage of development, the class of the medical device, its target markets and customer groups but also the strengths and weaknesses of its team. In order to match the specific needs of each venture and team, they have created the DayOne Tech Accelerator.
Benefits
They offer you the network, space, funding and support needed to bring your prototype to the next level. Further, they analyze your current development stage, set with your ambitious milestones for the next 12-months and prepare you for business success.
- Non-dilutive funding
- Receive up to CHF 100,000 (in cash and in kind) of non-dilutive funding to bring your prototype to the next level. They will also coach you to benefit from additional and significant non-dilutive funding, which may be available to you – for example from the Canton of Jura.
- Personalized coaching
- Benefit from up to 150 hours of world-class coaching and mentoring to bring your prototype to the next level.
- Networking
- Be part of a strong ecosystem bringing academic partners, corporations, startup founders and hospitals together.
- Visibility
- Pitch your project at local, national and international events (Demo Day, DayOne conference, etc.) to gain traction and help your startup to raise funds and identify additional strategic partners.
- Space
- Join the at the Switzerland Innovation Park in Jura and work alongside entrepreneurs, coaches and field experts.
- Tailored training
- Join the specific training and education events to reinforce your knowledge.
