Deadline Date: May 29, 2026
The Accelerator 2026 is seeking applications to support digital tech startups through funding, mentorship, networking opportunities, and business growth support in Liverpool.
The key focus areas of the programme include supporting digital tech startups ready to scale, providing equity investment opportunities, delivering interactive masterclasses, offering expert coaching and mentorship, supporting seed funding preparation, creating networking opportunities with investors and partners, facilitating access to corporate and regional connections, providing office space support, offering technology platform perks, and helping founders strengthen commercial traction and business growth.
Accelerator 2026 is delivered by Baltic Ventures, a regional venture platform based in the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool. The programme is focused on supporting tech founders before they receive institutional capital and aims to back up to 12 companies through the accelerator initiative.
The programme is open to digital tech startups from across the United Kingdom and international locations. Selected companies may receive an initial investment of £25,000 through an Advance Subscription Agreement, with the possibility of securing an additional £75,000 in follow-on funding from the Baltic Ventures Angel Syndicate.
Participants take part in a funded in-person programme supported by coaches, advisors, and exited founders. The accelerator includes practical masterclasses led by industry leaders and mentors, designed to help founders strengthen their businesses and prepare for growth.
Each participating company receives support from a personal coaching team that assists with key business challenges and development needs. The programme also provides dedicated investment support and networking opportunities intended to help founders secure potential future investment.
Networking activities include curated investor dinners in Liverpool and London, as well as a subsidised trip to Slush in Helsinki for founders and co-founders. Participants also gain access to technology platform perks from companies including Google Cloud, AWS, HubSpot, Scaleway, Notion, and Miro.
Selected startups may use office space in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle for up to nine months and receive introductions to a range of corporate and regional partners through the programme network.
The accelerator is intended for digital tech businesses with strong validation and early commercial traction that are preparing to scale operations. Applicants are expected to be planning a seed funding round within the next six to twelve months. The programme is mainly designed for teams with at least two co-founders, although applications from sole founders may also be considered. Founders should have relevant experience related to their product area or target market and must be ready to participate in the in-person programme in Liverpool. Eligible companies must be incorporated as a company limited by shares.
