The John Flock Bentilee Empowerment Fund has been set up specifically for residents in Bentilee and will provide practical support to empower people in the small things in life that can really make a difference.
This could be through community events, improving the environment, or purchasing a piece of equipment for use by local residents.
Funding Information
- Grants of up to £2000 are available for charitable organizations.

Eligible Projects
- Your project must:
- Support locally based charities or community groups through community events, improving the environment, or purchasing a piece of equipment for use by local residents.
Geographical Focus
- They will support organisations based in, or working fort the benefit of people in the following wards;
- Bentilee
- Ubberley
Eligibility Criteria
- This programme is able to consider applications from:
- Constituted community groups
- Constituted voluntary groups
- Registered Charities
- Social Enterprises
- Any other voluntary or Not-For-Profit organization
Application Requirements
- Organisations – The following documents must be provided with your application form. If you fail to provide these documents, your application form will not be considered. All documents should be submitted at the time of application.
- Governing document – A constitution or Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Accounts – most recent
- Bank Statement – no older than 3 months and clearly showing the account name, number and sort code
- Safeguarding policy
- Equality policy
- Quotes for any capital items
- Individuals (tenants of an EPIC property) – You should expect to evidence the need, which may include receiving a visit to verify the broken equipment and to arrange replacement.
