They’ve partnered with the NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League to offer $3 million in grant funding and services to small business owners and emerging entrepreneurs.
Now in its third season, Fast Break for Small Business is the largest grant program for small business owners. The program aims to assist business owners with the tools and resources they need to start and grow their businesses—the perfect play. This opportunity is designed to support both established and budding business ventures with the most significant distribution of funding for small business owners in recent years.
What are the awards?
- Small business grants in the amount of $10,000 plus $500 worth of LegalZoom products and services will be awarded to 150 existing small business applicants. An additional 3,000 LegalZoom product codes valued at $500 will be awarded to applicants who have not yet launched their businesses.
- Product codes may be used on LegalZoom small business services. Codes can be applied at checkout and are eligible for a one-time use. Your balance will not carry over for additional purchases. Codes can be used on products billed in full at the time of purchase only.
Who is eligible to apply?
- To apply for a small business grant and LegalZoom products and services, eligible small businesses:
- Must be based in the United States and currently in operation
- Must have been operating the business for at least 3 months from application date
- If in business for between 3 and 12 months, must have a business license, registration, or other legal document verifying the existence of the business entity
- Must have a business bank account and provide three months of bank statements that demonstrate business transactions
- If in business for 12 months or more, must provide the most recent year’s business tax return
- Must have made the equivalent of an annual revenue of less than $1M
- Applicants who have not yet started their business will be required to provide a summary of their business idea, as well as necessary contact information.
