MEET & CONNECT is a startup competition involving an in-person pitching contest livestreamed in Tokyo and Paris. Held since 2018, this unique event dedicated to French and Japanese startups is organized in partnership with La French Tech Tokyo, and gathers yearly an audience of high-ranking corporate executives.
As they open the 7th edition of Meet & Connect, the CCIFJ seeks this year again to support the development of entrepreneurship in France and Japan, and to distinguish 5 disruptive startups with a significant impact through the corporate Awards!
Theme
- The THEME FOR 2024 IS: “Tech4Good”
- Tech4Good was established as the Meet & Connect theme as they believe in the power of creative technologies in addressing tomorrow’s biggest challenges. Human abilities to imagine, innovate, research and undertake new challenges are crucial drivers of progress, and they aim at supporting startups upholding these values, as well as having a positive impact.
- Tech4Good also entails partnering with leading multinational corporations to move forward towards Social Development Goals. This is why the Meet & Connect gathers a wealth of participants and corporate stakeholders wishing to support initiatives that do not only feature technological solutions, but also have social change and sustainability at their core.

Eligibility Criteria
- This Challenge is open and offered solely to:
- Startup. A business entity, regardless of its business area. Startups may be required, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to provide proof of (i) company registration by submitting a registration certificate issued within the last three (3) months, or ongoing company registration, or any trade registry and proof ensuring the registration of the entity in the relevant country, and (ii) a valid professional insurance policy subscription.
- All the documents that may confirm the Participant’s eligibility may be required prior to awarding any prizes (e.g. identity document, registration certificate etc.).
- This Challenge is not open to: employees and representatives of the Sponsors and Agorize and the members of their families.
- This Challenge is void in countries where it is prohibited or restricted by law.
