The AgeTech Collaborative from AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) is calling for its ATC Summit AgeTech After Dark Pitch Event.
Challenge
- How might they make aging easier for everyone? Does your solution: enable mobility; support financial resilience, promote social connections, foster emotional wellness, empower those caring for a loved one, promote physical health.
What you will get?
- Grand prize: Cash prize of $10,000 provided by AgeTech Collaborative
- Finalists: Startups selected to pitch may be invited to join the AgeTech Collaborative accelerator program, where they can expect hands-on mentorship by a team with years of experience building and creating solutions for the 50+ audience.
- All selected finalists will be awarded $1,000 to offset travel costs
Process
- A maximum of eight (6) finalists will be selected on or around July 15, 2024 to advance to the pitch competition.
- The Review: A selection committee will review the applications and invite the top startups to join them in Washington, DC to pitch.
- The Pitch: You’ll have up to 5 minutes to pitch your startup in front of a live panel of industry experts followed by Q&A.

- The Promotion is open to all incorporated non-profits and for-profits organizations in good standing in their state of origin with its principal place of business located within the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia as of the date of entry (“Entrants”).
- The officers, directors, and employees of each Entrant shall not be the parent, child, spouse or sibling of an officer, director, or employees of an AARP subsidiary, affiliate, advertising/promotion agencies, and/or their affiliates, assigns or representatives (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Sponsor & Others”), and all other persons or entities associated with the development, administration, promotion, execution of, supply to or printing of this Promotion.
