The MedTech Innovator Accelerator offers a transformative opportunity for early- to mid-stage medical device, diagnostic and digital health companies around the world.
The program focuses on companies that have raised up to a Series C; early- to mid-stage medical device, diagnostic or digital health companies are encouraged to apply; preferably applicants will have prototypes and minimally some proof of concept evidence, as well as the funds available / runway remaining to execute during the program.
Each year the program recognises the 50+ best-in-class startups and scaleups across the medtech industry, giving selected companies access to high-profile visibility at leading conferences and media, to healthcare investors, stakeholders and decision-makers, and a network of mentors and peers along with participation in a customised virtual curriculum. The programme also includes pitch events where about 20% of applicants are invited to meet with industry-leading judges including investors, providers and senior executives from major medtech companies. Selected companies receive complimentary registrations to flagship conferences and membership to professional networks and an elite alumni community of high-performing medtech startups from around the world. Accepted companies must commit to having a senior member of their leadership team attend key events such as the June Summit and the October Showcase.
In addition to receiving the above benefits, early-stage companies (pre-Series B) will be assigned mentors from one or more of MedTech Innovator’s corporate partner and compete for up to $500,000 in funding.
Eligible companies include early- to mid-stage medical device, diagnostic or digital health companies. Applicants are encouraged to have prototypes and some proof of concept evidence and sufficient runway to carry out the programme.
