Startups participating in GAMIC progress through multiple stages, starting with the application and screening process, followed by quarterfinals, semifinals, and finally the global finals held at the SAE WCX event in Detroit.
Selected participants benefit from mentorship, expert feedback, and connections with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), Tier 1 suppliers, investors, and venture capitalists. The accelerator provides access to over 70 industry experts, up to $400,000 in professional services, and exposure to more than 10,000 mobility executives and innovators across the world.
Since its inception in 2008, GAMIC has supported more than 1,000 startup alumni who have collectively secured over $2 billion USD in investments and acquisitions. Among them, 45 GAMIC Champions have raised more than $1 billion USD as of 2025. This track record demonstrates the program’s ability to accelerate early-stage ventures and help them establish strong industry relationships.
GAMIC invites global entrepreneurs, innovators, and researchers with proof-of-concept or working models in the fields of mobility, electric vehicles, and autonomous systems to apply.
