The e-MOVE initiative by MOVE-ComCashew invites young and emerging agripreneurs aged 18 and above from member states of the Organisation of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS) to submit innovative ideas focused on the cashew, cocoa, maize, or livestock value chains, enabling participants to transform knowledge from free e-learning courses into investment-ready, climate-smart ventures with expert mentoring, funding, and business support.
Focus Areas: Submit your innovative ideas focused on the Cashew value chain; taking the next step in your cashew learning journey with e-MOVE; turning insights from e-MOVE courses into fundable plans; supporting viable business ideas; ensuring young and emerging MSMEs in the cashew sector are better positioned to attract investment; adopting low-emission, climate-resilient practices; contributing to sustainable food systems and rural livelihoods.
Participants are required to register on atingi or the e-MOVE landing page and complete two mandatory e-learning courses: Introduction to Conservation Agriculture (CA) and Creating an Investment-Ready Agribusiness. Completion of these courses unlocks access to the AgriCanvas submission, which serves as the official format for presenting business ideas.
The AgriCanvas allows applicants to showcase their business model on the cashew value chain, describing the climate-smart or resilience component, explaining the revenue model, and estimating the capital required to start or scale the project. Submissions must include a valid certificate ID from the “Creating an Investment-Ready Agribusiness” course as proof of course completion and must be submitted through the official submission form on KoboToolbox.
Winners of the initiative can receive direct funding of 2,000 EUR to boost their business, a laptop, tablet, or software to enhance operations, expert mentoring, training and incubation support, and connections to financial institutions for further growth. This support ensures that MSMEs in the cashew sector gain access to resources and knowledge that help them strengthen their investment readiness and implement sustainable, climate-resilient practices.
