Submit Applications for Cox Cleantech Accelerator Program Spring 2026

Deadline: November 02, 2025

The Cox Cleantech Accelerator, managed by gener8tor in partnership with Cox Cleantech, invests $100,000 into five innovative startups focused on sustainability and climate tech solutions, running bi-annually from January 22nd to May 8th, 2026, and aims to empower founders worldwide to scale impactful cleantech businesses through capital, mentorship, and strategic networks.

Focus Areas: Solving, mitigating or adapting to climate and environmental crises; startups leading the charge in sustainability and climate tech solutions; growth readiness; scalable business model; passionate and dedicated founders; engaging founders who reflect the diverse communities impacted by climate change.

The Cox Cleantech Accelerator is designed to provide both capital and expertise to startups that are tackling climate and environmental challenges. Each selected company receives a $100,000 investment directly into their current round or a convertible bridge note to be converted into their next round if they are not actively raising. The program emphasizes highly focused support, accepting only five startups per cohort to ensure individualized attention and guidance.

Participants benefit from a strategic network, including corporate partners, investors, and Atlanta-based enterprise pilots, which allow them to refine their business strategies and scale their operations effectively. Startups also gain access to mentorship from over 100 experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and cleantech specialists, covering areas like marketing, talent acquisition, legal advice, and more.

Cox Cleantech brings decades of experience in sustainable technologies and has invested more than $2 billion in initiatives aimed at protecting the planet. Through Cox Conserves, the company has supported over 500 sustainability and conservation projects, achieving milestones such as Zero Waste to Landfill certification and significant reductions in water and carbon footprints.

The accelerator’s partnership with gener8tor and the Georgia Cleantech Innovation Hub strengthens the program further, connecting founders to a robust ecosystem of leaders, innovators, and resources. Startups from anywhere in the world can apply, provided they demonstrate growth readiness, a scalable business model, and a commitment to addressing climate challenges. The program strongly encourages founders from underrepresented communities to participate, reflecting a commitment to inclusive innovation in sustainability.

By combining investment, mentorship, and a global network, the Cox Cleantech Accelerator equips startups to transform into high-value companies capable of making meaningful environmental and economic impact.
