Deadline: October 17, 2025
The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is inviting applications for its flagship Mentoring Women in Business programme, designed to support women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries by pairing them with experienced business mentors from around the world for one year.
The focus areas of this opportunity include achieving business goals, building wealth, stability and security, improving business performance and skills, boosting confidence, increasing business profits or improving communication skills, determining and working towards personal goals with support, improving self-confidence, gaining skills in business planning and strategy expertise, growing professional networks, and enhancing businesses to achieve dreams.
Since 2010, the programme has transformed the lives of thousands of women entrepreneurs by helping them strengthen their businesses and personal development. Mentees are paired with mentors who may be directors of major global corporations or fellow entrepreneurs, offering guidance, expertise, and encouragement. The structured mentoring relationship ensures that women entrepreneurs are not only improving their enterprises but also contributing to job creation and community leadership.
Participants who complete the programme successfully receive a certificate from Cherie Blair CBE KC, access to resources, and entry into an online community. Recent results show that nearly all participants gained business skills, applied improved management practices, and progressed toward their objectives, with many reporting tangible improvements in their businesses.
Applicants must be women from and living in a low or middle income country, proficient in English at an intermediate level or above, and either running their own business or planning to launch one within three months. They must also commit to regular online meetings with their mentor for at least two hours a month for twelve months, complete training and surveys, and adhere to the programme’s Code of Conduct.
Applications for the November 2025–2026 cohort are now open. Interested women can apply independently or through referral partners, with affiliation to a local partner strongly recommended.
