Funding Information
- Sage is giving away a total of £50k in business grants to eleven deserving small businesses.
- A £10,000 business grant
- For our grand prize winner, while a further 10 runners up will receive a £4,000 business grant.
- 2 x Hospitality tickets at The Hundred Final
- Including accommodation on the night of The Hundred Final and £400 to cover travel.
- In stadium branding
- At one local The Hundred match during the Group Stage.
Eligibility Criteria
- The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over who are a financial decision maker or owner of a small business (defined as a limited company, sole trader, LLP, CIC, CIO, registered charity or not-for-profit currently trading in the UK, with fewer than 50 employees) with a minimum of one year of trading activity before the competition opening date.
Ineligibility Criteria
- The following are ineligible to enter the competition:
- any business dealing in: arms, adult entertainment, counterfeit products, drug paraphernalia or pseudo pharmaceuticals, betting, alcohol, broadband and TV services, Snacks, Bagged and tubed carbohydrate based savoury snacks; crisps, nuts and nut butter; and popcorn, fantasy products, watches, apparel, caps, cricket helmets, Insurance, Private health, general medical insurance and medical healthcare trust products, Hand sanitiser, deodorant, pay day loans, business software and associated advisory services, any manufacturing, sales, repair and maintenance, finance, insurance or any other services featuring a brand name of an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Price comparison or price aggregator websites for insurance, energy prices, broadband prices, mortgages and/or credit cards;any unregulated money servicing businesses, cheque encashment agencies, bureau de change and money transmitters;
- political and religious organisations
- any business or individual guilty of financial misconduct, any individual with a criminal record, any business in bankruptcy, liquidation or similar and any business or individual with a significant adverse credit event against directors or shareholders of the business;
- employees of Sage (UK) Limited, as well as their immediate families (defined as spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent and/or “step” family);
- agencies which offer services to Sage (UK) Limited;
- employees of any organisation professionally involved in this competition.
