Request for Applications: Cascador ScaleUp Programme

The focus areas include business scaling, leadership development, strategic advisory support, growth capital readiness, venture acceleration, entrepreneurial capacity building, investment readiness, social impact enterprises, and structured business analysis for scale-stage companies.

The programme is a 12-week intensive experience that supports founders in strengthening both their companies and their leadership capabilities. It combines bespoke business analysis, leadership development, and strategic guidance tailored to each participating venture, ensuring practical application within the business context.

Participants engage in a mix of in-person intensives, virtual learning sessions, and hands-on advisory work within their companies. This approach is designed to ensure that insights gained during the programme are directly implemented to improve business performance and scalability.

The programme offers a clear pathway to capital through the Cascador Catalytic Fund, which provides up to 5 million USD annually. Alumni of the programme are eligible to apply for this funding, supporting their continued growth and expansion.

Additional benefits include a tailored ScaleUp experience based on the company’s stage and challenges, a founder stipend of 5,000 USD upon successful completion, and pitch prizes totaling 50,000 USD awarded during programme events. Travel, lodging, and meals are also covered for required in-person sessions.

Eligibility for the programme includes businesses that have been operating for at least two years, generate annual revenue of at least 70,000 USD, and are based or operating in Sub-Saharan Africa. Preference is given to ventures with meaningful social impact and a strong commitment to full programme participation.
