The International Spacetech Startup Supporting Program has announced its applications to support emerging space technology companies to collaborate with Taiwanese enterprises and strengthen their global expansion opportunities through innovation, supply chain integration and industry co-creation initiatives.
The program focuses on communication satellites and related systems integration, remote sensing satellite imagery applications, AI applications and edge computing, drone and unmanned aerial vehicle technologies, ground equipment, satellite manufacturing, launch industry solutions, satellite services, and other space applications. Companies established within the last 10 years and those with flight heritage are preferred under the program.
Eligible startups will have the opportunity to engage with Taiwanese enterprises and the wider startup ecosystem to accelerate scaling and commercial growth. The initiative offers supply chain and ecosystem matchmaking, corporate innovation tours, industry co-creation opportunities, strategic investment support, field verification in 5G, maritime, and drone applications, along with promotion and marketing support for global outreach.
The program also provides funding support in the form of one round-trip ticket reimbursement of up to USD 2,500 for selected participants. This support is intended to help startups participate in the innovation activities and business engagement opportunities offered through the challenge.
To qualify, companies must operate in sectors related to communication satellites and systems integration, remote imaging and sensing applications, drone or unmanned aerial vehicle technologies, satellite manufacturing, launch industry services, ground equipment, satellite services, or other space-related applications. Companies established within the last 10 years are eligible, while startups with flight heritage will receive preference during selection.
