Deadline Date: May 19, 2026
The Nordic Innovation is inviting proposals that leverage quantum technology to create transformative solutions in healthcare and life sciences with clear pathways to commercialization and end-user involvement.
The focus areas include applying quantum technology to advance healthcare or life science, engaging end users throughout the project, ensuring a clear route to commercialization, and forming ambitious consortia with complementary strengths and expertise.
This call supports consortia that may include cluster or ecosystem organizations, private or institutional investors, companies, innovation institutions, consultancies, higher education institutions, and public sector actors. Projects must demonstrate how end users in the Nordic region are integrated and benefit from the work. While partners from outside the Nordic countries may participate, only Nordic partners are eligible for funding.
Funding of up to 4,500,000 NOK is available for projects lasting up to three years. Applicants are required to provide at least 50% co-funding, which can include in-kind contributions such as working hours, to match or exceed the support from Nordic Innovation.
Eligible projects must clearly demonstrate ambition, collaboration across the value chain, technical competence, and the potential to deliver significant impact in life sciences and healthcare through quantum technology. Consortia without end users must explain how they will be engaged during the project to ensure relevance and adoption of the solutions.
