The Business Growth Program provides an opportunity for Northern Territory businesses to access professional advice, services, and systems to enhance their performance, sustainability, and profitability.
The program focuses on helping businesses grow, develop, and expand through funding for services that are directly related to the commercial operation of the business or the implementation of projects funded through this program.
Funding of between $2,000 and $10,000 is available to reimburse 50% of the costs of eligible services provided by approved service providers. Eligible services include professional advice, systems, and other business-related services aimed at improving business operations, efficiency, and growth. This initiative is designed to support small businesses, Aboriginal enterprises, and not-for-profit organisations in achieving better commercial outcomes and long-term sustainability.
To access the funding, businesses must meet specific eligibility criteria. Applicants must be Territory enterprises, either for-profit or not-for-profit, hold a valid Australian Business Number (ABN), and have been operating in the Northern Territory for at least six months prior to application. Eligible businesses must employ at least one but no more than 50 full-time employees and have an annual turnover between $75,000 and $10 million. The program reimburses 50% of the eligible costs for approved professional services, making it a practical support mechanism for businesses looking to enhance their capabilities and growth potential.
