The Swedish Energy Agency is now accepting grant applications to support research projects focused on advancing solutions in the field of negative emissions under Industriklivet.
The call focuses on projects that can contribute to permanent negative emissions through the capture, transport, and geological storage of greenhouse gases of biogenic origin or that have been removed from the atmosphere. Applicants can seek support for projects relating to industrial research or experimental development under Article 25 of Commission Regulation.
The total funds announced for this call amount to approximately 15 million SEK, and the agency is addressing the call to all actors who can contribute to the purpose of Industriklivet in the area of negative emissions. Eligible applicants include universities and colleges, research institutes, public sector actors, and companies (legal entities).
Applications must be primarily written in Swedish and be complete at the time of submission. Each application must include the appendix titled “Mandatory appendix to the application,” which can be found under the section “Appendices to the application.”
