Deadline Date: May 10, 2026
The AirAsia Foundation has launched its applications to support changemakers across ASEAN by providing resources, networks and encouragement to transform impactful ideas into reality.
The programme focuses on initiatives that deliver long-term benefits to communities and the environment, with particular emphasis on sustainable travel, climate resilience, and other high-impact innovative solutions that create meaningful and lasting change.
They partner with ASEAN-led social enterprises, organisations, and community groups that demonstrate measurable social or environmental impact. Projects are expected to be innovative, community-driven, and designed to continue beyond the grant period.
Eligible projects include new initiatives or the expansion of existing ones that already have a proven concept and can achieve clear goals within 12 months. Funding can be used for product or service development, marketing efforts, community training, purchasing assets, or other activities that support growth and impact expansion. However, they do not support operating cash flow, land purchases, or building acquisitions.
The grant offers up to USD 25,000, with the final amount depending on the project’s scope and needs, and funds are distributed in stages based on progress. In addition to financial support, selected organisations gain access to their network, increased visibility across ASEAN, and potential pro bono expertise, advisory services, and strategic connections tailored to their needs. Eligibility is open to ASEAN-based and ASEAN-led social enterprises, organisations, and community groups that have a proven track record of creating positive social or environmental change.
