Deadline Date: March 20, 2026
The Free and Productive Women Fund is now accepting applications to support micro-businesses owned and led by women heads of household to strengthen their economic autonomy and enhance the growth of their productive enterprises.
The program focuses on enhancing women’s economic autonomy through microbusiness diagnosis, development of strengthening plans, technical assistance, virtual knowledge-sharing spaces, and formulation of investment plans that are materialized through the delivery of productive assets. It targets micro-businesses engaged in productive activities of goods or services with processes of transformation, preparation, manufacturing, or specialized provision, located in the priority municipalities defined in the call.
Eligible participants are women heads of household over 18 years of age, classified in SISBEN IV groups A, B, or C, with micro-businesses employing between one and nine people, including the owner. Businesses must demonstrate at least one year of operation, belong to community, social, or territorial networks, and have internet access to participate in the virtual program. They may be formally or informally registered and must not have previously received similar productive asset support from the Women’s Fund.
Selected micro-businesses will benefit from a comprehensive Microbusiness Route that includes technical assistance across productive, commercial, financial, administrative, and skills components, knowledge-sharing opportunities, the development of investment plans, and the provision of in-kind productive assets valued up to $5,620,000 per beneficiary. The program also includes monitoring and verification of results during implementation to ensure effective impact.
