Deadline Date: April 30, 2026
The Promotion of Production funding program supports companies in Vienna that are planning to invest in energy-efficient machinery or restructure their production processes.
The funding focuses on improving production through investments such as the acquisition of equipment and machinery, material costs, licenses, and construction measures, as well as supporting personnel costs and external services involved in production development.
This program is designed to assist companies that want to modernize or optimize their production operations in Vienna. Businesses planning to introduce energy-efficient machinery or restructure existing production processes can receive financial support to help implement these improvements. The initiative aims to strengthen production capacity and enhance operational efficiency within the region.
Funding is available for several categories of project expenses. These include investments in machinery and equipment necessary for production activities, construction measures related to production facilities, and material costs connected to the project. Companies can also receive support for personnel expenses that arise during the implementation of the project as well as costs associated with external services required for the project.
Each project can receive a maximum funding amount of 200,000 euros, with a funding rate covering up to 50 percent of the eligible project costs. The minimum project size required to qualify for this program is 30,000 euros, and the maximum duration for a funded project is two years. Eligible costs include machinery, construction work, personnel expenses, and payments for external services, with the requirement that at least 50 percent of the project costs must be eligible for capitalization.
The funding program is open to existing small, medium, and large companies, as well as entrepreneurs operating in Vienna. It specifically targets commercial and industrial production companies across all sectors that aim to strengthen or improve their production processes.
