The Czech humanitarian organization is currently accepting grant applications to help individuals with limited economic opportunities start or resume entrepreneurial activities.
Focus areas, include providing financial support to low-income individuals, empowering persons with disabilities, internally displaced persons, single parents or guardians, people of pre-retirement or retirement age, representatives of ethnic minorities, and veterans, and enabling recipients to conduct business activities in target communities through official business registration.
Grants of up to 4,000 US dollars are available to support the launch or revival of entrepreneurial activities. The competition is designed to empower vulnerable individuals by providing financial assistance that enables them to rebuild their livelihoods and contribute to their communities’ economic development.
Eligible applicants are local residents or internally displaced persons who do not yet have a registered legal entity or individual entrepreneur status, have reached the age of majority (18 years), have experienced loss of business, employment, or significant income due to the war, and are committed to carrying out business activities in the Project’s target communities. The grant aims to provide a pathway for economic recovery, self-sufficiency, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for those most affected by economic hardship.
Recipients will receive financial support to launch or restart entrepreneurial ventures, with priority given to participants who meet the defined vulnerability criteria. This initiative emphasizes fostering inclusive economic development and empowering individuals to contribute to their local communities through entrepreneurship.
