The ISU 1000 Stitching Units Program is requesting grant applications to support entrepreneurs, strengthen small businesses, and boost local production capacity in the textile sector.
The program focuses on empowering existing exporters, potential exporters planning to expand their business to international markets, startups aiming to enter textile exports, and export-linked SMEs that are indirectly engaged in exports through partnerships or orders from larger exporters. Eligible sectors include readymade garments, gloves, home textiles such as bedsheets and towels, fashion apparel, sports goods, denim and leather garments, knitwear and hosiery, traditional textiles, and canvas products.
Under this initiative, grants of up to PKR 5.0 million are available to eligible small and medium-sized enterprises to scale their stitching operations and increase their export potential. The program aims to enhance production capabilities, improve competitiveness in global markets, and support entrepreneurship in the textile industry.
Applicants must meet the program’s eligibility criteria, demonstrating their current involvement or planned engagement in textile exports, whether as established exporters, emerging businesses, startups, or SMEs connected to export activities. The initiative is designed to facilitate growth, foster innovation, and strengthen local manufacturing capacity while opening opportunities in international markets.
