Deadline Date: April 22, 2026
The Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations Program offers funding support to advance mineral exploration, enhance geoscientific understanding, and promote resource discovery in the Northern Territory.
The program focuses on greenfields drilling programs, brownfields diamond drilling testing new concepts, regional‑scale geophysical surveys, innovative targeting using new techniques or reprocessing of data, mineral characterisation, and early‑stage metallurgical testwork. Eligible costs include drilling and geophysical acquisition, downhole logging and surveys, geological and geochemical analyses, and mobilisation and demobilisation within capped limits.
Total funding available for Round 19 is up to $4 million, and fieldwork must be completed between June and December 2026. The program does not generally provide funding for retrospective projects, resource definition or production drilling, in‑kind contributions, project management or administration, or ongoing operational costs.
This program offers an opportunity for explorers and geoscientists to advance resource discovery and strengthen geological understanding in the Northern Territory through targeted funding for innovative and high-impact exploration activities.
