Deadline Date: April 08, 2026
The Innovate UK is offering funding to support farmers, growers, and foresters in England in developing high-quality applications for on-farm trials and farm experiment projects under the ADOPT Grant scheme.
The program provides a £2,500 grant for eligible participants to engage an external Project Facilitator. This facilitator will guide applicants in preparing and submitting Full ADOPT Grant applications, ensuring that proposals are well-structured, clear, and aligned with the objectives of the scheme. The support is intended to improve the overall quality of submissions and increase the likelihood of securing funding for innovative on-farm trials.
This funding opportunity also seeks to enhance the skills and expertise of the farming ecosystem by giving applicants hands-on experience with innovation funding processes. By working closely with Project Facilitators, farmers, growers, and foresters can gain valuable insights into project design, grant requirements, and reporting procedures, which will strengthen their future applications.
To be eligible, applicants must engage a Project Facilitator registered in the Innovate UK Business Connect database and collaborate with them to develop and submit a Full ADOPT Grant application. Participants must provide evidence that their application has been submitted for assessment and must submit a claim within six months of receiving their Grant Offer letter.
The ADOPT Grant Development Support initiative is designed to expand access to funding, encourage innovation in agriculture, and support the adoption of new ideas and technologies on farms across England. By facilitating high-quality applications, the program contributes to building a more innovative, productive, and sustainable farming sector.
