Deadline Date: May 20, 2026
The iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE is an initiative designed to support projects that make a meaningful contribution to society.
All submissions must align with one of the 15 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which include: No Poverty; Zero Hunger; Good Health and Well-Being; Quality Education; Gender Equality; Clean Water and Sanitation; Affordable and Clean Energy; Decent Work and Economic Growth; Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; Reduced Inequalities; Sustainable Cities and Communities; Responsible Consumption and Production; Climate Action; Life Below Water; and Life on Land.
Eligible projects must be already implemented, and student concepts are not accepted. Applications are free, and iF Design awards a total of EUR 100,000 annually, split between two rounds, to support the most impactful projects submitted. Each project may be submitted a maximum of two times.
Applications require basic project information, including name, SDG category, project start date, type, and tags, along with a concise description of up to 650 characters. Supporting media, such as images, a PDF file (maximum 5 pages), and a project video (up to 2 minutes), can be uploaded, and a web URL for public access should be provided. Applicants must include organizational details and may list partner organizations.
While iF Design does not provide direct financial support, the prize money helps recognize and empower projects that are making a tangible difference in society through design and innovation.
