Entries are now open for iDEX Open Challenge, an initiative of iDEX – DIO aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in the defence sector.
It provides a platform for startups, individual innovators, and MSMEs to develop and showcase innovative solutions that can enhance the country’s defence and aerospace capabilities.
The challenge is open to Indian participants with ideas spanning a wide range of technology domains, including aerospace, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, and quantum technologies. Innovators can submit proposals under one or more themes, allowing for diverse and cutting-edge solutions to be considered.
Proposals must be submitted through the iDEX portal and should include a detailed description of the technology or solution, its potential applications, and ideally, a demonstration of feasibility. The initiative encourages participants to present technologies or products that can directly strengthen India’s military capabilities.
Through the iDEX Open Challenge, innovators gain a unique opportunity to engage directly with the military, with guidance and support from DIO and its partner incubators. This initiative not only fosters technological advancements but also helps translate innovative ideas into viable, real-world solutions for national defence.
By providing a structured framework and government support, the iDEX Open Challenge plays a key role in nurturing entrepreneurship and advancing India’s strategic defence and aerospace objectives.
