Deadline: 30 June 2024
Submissions are now open for the Genesis Accelerator Program.
The Genesis Accelerator:
- What they Do
- They help Israeli startups build and scale great products and companies by connecting them with the best people, networks, methodologies, thought leadership, investors, and advanced technologies.
- The Goals
- The program’s goal is to accelerate technology ventures at the Ideation stage, with aspiring entrepreneurs at the beginning of their journey. In each cycle, 10 teams will participate in a 3-month program, culminating in an advanced MVP ready for presentation on Demo Day.
- The Startups
- Selected startups will receive both one-on-one mentoring sessions and participate in wider group sessions focused on technology, product development, and go-to-market strategy, supported throughout by experienced mentors and external experts.
The Program
- Mentorship: During the program, each team will be accompanied by a mentor from the industry.
- All mentors involved are active investors, offering practical insights and support.
- Weekly Meetings: Teams participate in weekly meetings covering Go-To-Market strategy, validation, competitor research, fundraising, and team building.
- On-Site Meetings: Weekly in-person meetings at the offices of Gornitzky & Co., a Tel Aviv-based law firm specializing in high-tech, provide a focused environment for discussions and planning.
- Strategic Partnerships: (Google, KPMG, Gornitzky, Fusion) that complement and provide essential professional support for young startups.
- Support: Teams will receive both in-person and online support, including access to a diverse group of mentors from Israel and around the world.
Criteria
- They are open to everything, not limited to any specific field.
- Teams that are well-structured and possess all the necessary capabilities to develop the product. At a minimum, one member with technical skills or technical orientation and one with business skills (everything else is a bonus). Preference will be given to teams that are dedicated to working full-time on the venture, but it is not mandatory.
- The program is suitable for teams that know what problem they want to solve or for strong and cohesive teams (even if they are not 100% set on their idea yet). The goal is that with the tools and connections gained in the program, the teams will eventually reach investment further along their journey.
