The City of Vienna is offering a digitization funding program to support small and medium-sized enterprises in developing and implementing digital solutions that modernize workflows and enhance customer support.
The focus areas of the program include digitizing existing workflows within companies, setting up digital interfaces, developing new workflows, digitizing customer support, modernizing value creation processes, implementing verifiable digitalization plans, investing in new digital solutions, software, and licenses, and covering external consulting and employee training costs.
Eligible SMEs must have been in operation in Vienna for at least one year at the time of application. The program provides funding for digitalization projects with a minimum project size of 10,000 euros and a maximum funding amount of 50,000 euros per project, with a maximum project duration of two years. Funding can cover both investments in new digital tools and services, including consulting and training provided by external service providers.
This initiative enables SMEs to enhance efficiency, improve workflow processes, and strengthen their digital capabilities to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market. By supporting both internal workflow modernization and customer-facing digital solutions, the program encourages businesses to adopt sustainable and scalable digital practices.
