Deadline Date: June 30, 2026
The Tasmanian Government is offering funding to support advanced manufacturing enterprises in enhancing their productivity.
The program focuses on three core priority areas—people, productivity, and market success. It aims to help Tasmanian-based businesses undertake activities such as obtaining expert advice, achieving quality assurance accreditation, and developing staff and business skills.
The Advanced Manufacturing Productivity Grant provides matched funding to Tasmanian-based advanced manufacturing enterprises or high-tech businesses that support manufacturing inputs, including software or component development essential for advanced products.
Eligible businesses must have an Australian Business Number (ABN), be registered for GST, and demonstrate annual sales turnover between $500,000 and $55 million in at least one of the last two financial years. Consultants, intermediaries, and businesses subject to legal disability, including bankruptcy or liquidation, are not eligible.
Funding ranges from $1,500 to $20,000 per project, with up to 50 percent of project costs covered by the grant, provided the applicant contributes the remaining 50 percent. Collaborative projects led by industry bodies or nominated businesses may be eligible for a higher percentage of funding if they demonstrate broader industry benefits. The program has a total funding allocation of $400,000 for the 2025/26 financial year and will remain open until the funds are exhausted or until 30 June 2026. Applications are assessed in order of receipt based on eligibility and assessment criteria.
