Deadline Date: April 16, 2026
The European Commission is inviting applications to support innovative, sustainable and high-quality healthcare through the deployment of tailored solutions addressing real clinical needs.
The key objectives focus on deploying innovative solutions that enhance care coordination and integration, promote personalised and inclusive healthcare, improve patient engagement and outcomes, equip health professionals with advanced tools for better diagnosis and treatment, and strengthen health systems through greater efficiency, accessibility, resilience, and collaboration.
Proposed solutions may include digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, to support care coordination across hospitals, primary care, long-term care facilities, and home settings, as well as tools that enhance diagnostic processes and enable personalised treatment approaches. The emphasis is on first deployment across multiple healthcare systems in Europe, involving procurers with operational responsibilities and budget control.
The total funding available for this topic is €24,500,000. Financial capacity checks typically apply to coordinators requesting grants of €500,000 or more, except for public bodies and low-value grants not exceeding €60,000. Additional applicants may also be assessed if necessary. If financial capacity is deemed insufficient, they may be required to provide further information, accept enhanced financial responsibility conditions, receive prefinancing in instalments or none at all, or be replaced, potentially leading to rejection of the proposal.
Eligibility is primarily targeted at consortia of procurers from different European countries, including public and private entities responsible for healthcare service delivery and budget management at national, regional, or local levels. These consortia must demonstrate a shared need for innovative solutions and the capacity to jointly procure and implement them.
