The Ardlethan Tin Mine Fund is seeking applications to support local projects that enhance community infrastructure and provide valuable services to residents of the Ardlethan and Beckom districts and the wider Coolamon Shire.
The fund focuses on promoting positive development, enhancing local facilities, and supporting community programs.
The fund prioritizes projects that can be completed within 12 months from approval, are located within the Coolamon Shire Council Local Government Area or specifically in the Ardlethan and Beckom districts, meet assessment criteria, and submit a complete application including quotes and budget details. Eligible projects include community infrastructure improvements, programs, and support for local community organisations.
A total of $30,000 is allocated for round two of funding, with applicants able to request a minimum of $2,000. Community members, local groups, businesses, and clubs are invited to apply, with preference given to projects that benefit the Ardlethan and Beckom districts, although other applications within the Shire will also be considered.
Approved projects must be completed within 12 months, and failure to meet this timeline may result in the withdrawal of funding. The fund is made possible through the Voluntary Planning Agreement with the Ardlethan Tin Resource, demonstrating a commitment to reinvesting in the local community and fostering sustainable community development.
