The L’Oréal Green Sciences Incubator is now accepting applications to support innovative startups in collaborating with L’Oréal to advance sustainable solutions in the cosmetics industry.
The program focuses on ingredients from new and resilient feedstocks to create sustainable cosmetic functionalities, low-carbon technologies including biocircularity, carbon capture and utilisation, industrial side streams and low-carbon transformation processes, and emerging green sciences such as innovative fermentation, green chemistry processes, and hybrid technical solutions to enhance performance and cost.
Through this initiative, selected startups gain access to Genopole’s assets and collaborate closely with L’Oréal to develop and showcase their potential. The program is open to innovators seeking advanced lab facilities and technology platforms to further develop their solutions. It also welcomes startups already operating in the cosmetics industry aiming to accelerate development, as well as those from other sectors looking to adapt their innovations for the cosmetics industry with L’Oréal’s support.
Participants benefit from a co-innovative approach where they share a common project, team, and workspace. Startups collaborate with a wide range of L’Oréal experts while gaining privileged access to selected Genopole resources and platforms. The collaboration is tailored to each startup’s needs and is structured based on the maturity of their technology and identified challenges.
L’Oréal and Genopole evaluate selected startups and offer a program lasting from six months to one year, providing an environment for innovation, collaboration, and development.
