SILab Ukraine, with financial support from the German Federal Foreign Office, will conduct a free four-day training “Start Your Own Business” for women in the Odessa region.
The training focuses on providing women, particularly internally displaced persons, with the opportunity to gain skills and resources to start or expand or restore their own businesses through theoretical knowledge, practical mentorship, and psychological support. The learning areas include lean approach to planning and launching a business, target audience research, market analysis, creating a minimum viable product, legal and tax aspects of business activities, financial modeling, drawing up a business plan, search for partners, and attracting investments.
The program invites participation from women from the Odessa region, including those whose families suffered from military actions by Russia, internally displaced women, wives of military personnel or veterans, women living in rural areas, and representatives of vulnerable social groups.
The training will take place from November 27 to 30 in Kyiv, with travel, accommodation, and meals fully covered by the organizers, ensuring accessible participation for all selected candidates.
