The Centre for Development of Telematics is thrilled to launch a cutting-edge Incubation Program titled “Samarth” with a focus on fostering innovation and promoting technological advancements in India’s telecommunications and IT sectors.
The program has a maximum cohort size of 18 startups per program, with a total of 36 startups across two cohorts of six months each. The program will be delivered in a hybrid mode.
The program aims to encourage the development of sustainable and scalable business models, offer access to cutting-edge resources, and help startups bridge the gap from ideation to commercialization.
Focus Areas
- The “Samarth” Incubation Program is designed to provide comprehensive support for startups and innovators engaged in creating next-generation technologies in the fields of:
- Telecom Software Applications
- Cyber Security
- 5G/6G Technologies
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- IoT Applications
- Quantum Technologies
Problem Statements
- To develop a modularized deepfake detection system that can accurately identify AI-generated media, such as audio, video, image and text.
- To develop a Gamified Platform for Phishing Simulation.
- To develop IoTCertManager – Secure Certificate Management across Heterogeneous IoT networks and devices under smart cities utilizing OneM2M standard.
- To develop a solution for Fileless Malware Detection and Mitigation.
- To improve the open-source Mosquitto MQTT broker by integrating a comprehensive monitoring dashboard that offers real-time insights into broker performance, MQTT client activity, and message traffic.

Funding Information
- A grant of upto Rs. 5.0 lakh will be provided to selected startup under Cohort-I as per the terms & condition of the program.
Eligibility Criteria
- To participate, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- DPIIT Certification: The start-up must be DPIIT Certified.
- Indian Ownership: Founder must be Indian Citizen with Majority shareholding with Indian Citizens
- Application Limit: Applicant can apply to maximum two problem statements.
Evaluation Criteria
- A panel of experts will screen applications based on eligibility, business potential, and technical feasibility.
