Deadline Date: April 21, 2026
The ROOTCAMP Acceleration Program offers early-stage startups a structured opportunity to scale their solutions through mentorship, resources, and potential pilot collaborations.
The program focuses on supporting startups through intensive acceleration, personalized coaching, access to mentors across domains such as IP, finance, fundraising, sales, marketing, IT, and HR, as well as opportunities for product co-development, commercial partnerships, licensing agreements, customer base expansion, and additional investments.
The program is divided into two phases, beginning with a three-month acceleration program followed by an optional pilot project that can extend up to twelve months. The acceleration phase consists of twelve intensive weeks delivered in a hybrid format, combining both in-person and virtual participation. During this period, startups receive weekly personalized coaching and gain access to a network of mentors who provide guidance across key business and technical areas. Participants also benefit from full access to office facilities, an e-learning platform, and program events, culminating in a Demo Day.
Following the acceleration phase, selected startups may enter the pilot project phase, which offers up to nine additional months to further develop and test their product or technology in collaboration with corporate partners. The structure, duration, and terms of each pilot project are tailored individually, reflecting the unique needs and nature of each startup.
The program operates on a cost-free basis and does not require equity from participating startups. Additional grants and funding opportunities are available during the project phase. Participants are required to attend all program activities and events, including the Demo Day. The program is conducted entirely in English, with three out of the twelve acceleration weeks requiring in-person participation in Hannover.
The program is designed for motivated startups that aim to grow and scale their solutions. Eligible applicants include startups at stages ranging from pre-seed to Series A, with tech-driven and scalable solutions that demonstrate uniqueness and innovation. Applicants are expected to present a minimum viable product, a beta-stage prototype, or evidence of market validation, and must have a founding team of at least two members.
