Applications are now open for the Romania ClimAccelerator Program to support startups that, through innovation and technology, can create a greener future.
Romania ClimAccelerator is the most advanced accelerator for startups with environmental impact in Romania.
The Romania ClimAccelerator program is organized with the support of Climate KIC by Impact Hub Bucharest and the main partner rompetrol.
Aims
- Romania ClimAccelerator 2025 aims to offer a greater focus on startups in local ecosystems.
Pillars
- The program is based on the following pillars:
- Visibility and inspiration for greentech solutions, education and know-how, investment preparation, scaling, access to a network of innovators, partners and decision-makers, but also long-term impact.
Categories
- Pre-Seed Stage
- Activities: September – November 2025 (online)
- 15 startups that have an idea or are in the early stages will benefit from business modeling workshops and market validation of the solution. Participants must have a company established at the time of entering the program and signing the participation contract.
- Activity in the program (online):
- Workshops and case studies (Value Proposition, MVP, Climate Impact Hypothesis, Investors Ecosystem, Climate Safe Note)
- Peer sharing at national and international level
- Board of advisors: Applied meetings with a group of experts
- Connecting with key players in the ecosystem
- Startups selected in the first phase will hold an online pitch on August 28th, then 15 participants will be selected for the Pre-Seed Stage category and announced on September 9th.

- Seed Stage
- Activities: September – November 2025 (online)
- 10 startups that have a validated prototype in the market will benefit from support in attracting customers and specialist consulting according to their specific needs.
- Activity in the program (online):
- Workshops and case studies (Value Proposition, MVP, Climate Impact Hypothesis, Investors Ecosystem, Climate Safe Note, From business model to business plan, Pitching to investors)
- Peer sharing at national and international level
- Board of advisors: Applied meetings with a group of experts
- Networking and connecting with key players in the ecosystem
- Consultancy on specific needs
- Participation in Demo Day (November 17, 2025), where they will present their solution to key market players

Eligibility Criteria
- To participate in the selection for the Program in exclusive mode, individuals respect the following criteria of eligibility:
- The Participant is legally resident in Romania;
- Participant is an established legal entity;
- Participant, as an individual or representative of a legal entity, if he or she finds himself in a conflict of interest or
- in direct/indirect competition with the Organizer entity.
