This in-person program aims to make Birmingham the center of health technology solutions through investments in entrepreneurship, talent, and community engagements. What makes this accelerator unique is its devotion to building a diverse community of support around each company.

Selected team will receive a variety of benefits provided by the program partners:

• Office space within Prosper’s headquarters.
• Twelve weeks of individualized coaching and mentorship from the gener8tor team during bi-weekly, one-on-one meetings.
• One-on-one meetings with 100+ connections including serial entrepreneurs, industry experts and investors.
• Weekly cohort programming featuring topics including understanding market size, choosing a revenue model, and how to pitch investors.
• Exclusive Premiere Night reception during which participating companies have the opportunity to pitch to an audience of entrepreneurs, mentors, investors and community members.
• Opportunity to build relationships within the cohort of five companies, and the community of gener8tor alumni.
• $1M + in deals and perks from vendors like IBM Cloud, Rackspace, Amazon, PayPal, Zendesk, Hubspot and Microsoft.
• $60K in exchange for 6% common stock equity.

Who can apply?

• Applications are welcome from startups headquartered all around America. This is a health tech specific program. They are focused on investing in startups who’s mission is to improve health care for all.
• Only for the duration of the program. However, all participants are required to attend in-person unless noted by the accelerator staff.
