The Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) has launched a call for applications under its NEURON Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) for the GENESIS – Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) Cohort 2.0, inviting tech startups to develop innovative solutions in emerging technologies.
Focus Areas: Innovative solutions in emerging technologies.
The initiative offers early-stage entrepreneurs the opportunity to access funding support of up to ₹10 lakhs to advance their technological innovations. Selected startups will benefit from a range of additional support services, including co-working space, access to advanced laboratories, legal compliance support, IP support and guidance, periodic mentoring, and networking opportunities with domain experts and industry stakeholders.
Eligibility criteria specify that the applicant must be an Indian citizen, and only early-stage startups are eligible to apply. The startup entity must not be older than two years at the time of application and should not have received significant external funding exceeding ₹10 lakhs, including government funding. The program particularly encourages entrepreneurs from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities to apply, thereby promoting regional innovation and inclusivity in the startup ecosystem.
