Deadline Date: February 12, 2026
The PwC Vietnam is hosting the Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) program, a global initiative funded by the UK government to help climate-focused projects access finance and strengthen their investment potential.
The focus areas of the programme include supporting climate mitigation solutions, providing tailored guidance and connections to enhance project readiness for investor engagement, prioritizing projects with measurable climate outcomes, strong environmental and social impacts, and investor appeal, assisting participants in sharpening capital‑raising strategies and improving investment documentation, facilitating structured networking and dialogue with commercial and concessional financiers, offering knowledge‑sharing sessions and tailored coaching from experienced practitioners, and connecting financial institutions with a credible pipeline of low-carbon opportunities in Vietnam.
The programme supports projects with a minimum financing requirement of at least USD 5 million and a commitment to social inclusion and broader impact. Participants receive practical, deal-oriented assistance that helps them develop business models, risk mitigation frameworks, comprehensive pitch materials, and strategies that align with investor requirements. Selected project developers also engage in structured networking opportunities designed to provide insights into investor mandates and risk appetites, refining their investment cases to resonate with financiers.
The CFA provides knowledge-sharing sessions and tailored coaching that cover key investor priorities and help participants build investor-grade materials while strengthening their environmental, social, and governance narratives. This preparation enhances credibility within the climate finance ecosystem and often leads to long-term collaborations beyond the programme cycle. The initiative also facilitates connections between financiers and low-carbon projects in Vietnam, allowing financial institutions to deepen their understanding of innovative climate finance mechanisms and expand their networks across public partners, development agencies, and peer institutions.
The CFA Vietnam programme has worked with projects in clean energy, circular economy, waste management, e-mobility, and sustainable agriculture, helping them build capacity and connect with potential investors through workshops and events. The current phase of the programme is now open for new project proposals, inviting climate-focused developers to register and apply, with funding support available for projects meeting the programme criteria.
