The Cyber Accelerator is a seven-month programme designed to support early-stage cybersecurity startups in developing innovative solutions and preparing them for market entry with expert guidance and funding support.
The focus areas, of this programme include development of early-stage cybersecurity solutions, support for startups, researchers, students, and SME spin-offs, integration of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, security of artificial intelligence systems, post-quantum cryptography, automation of cybersecurity processes, analysis and forecasting of cyber threats, and development of future-oriented cybersecurity technologies.
The Cyber Accelerator provides selected teams with financial support, mentorship, and practical guidance to transform cybersecurity ideas into functional products or services. It focuses on helping participants develop a clear value proposition, validate their business models, and prepare for market entry and growth.
The programme runs for seven months and offers up to 60,000 euros in grant funding to each selected team. It is designed to support innovation in response to the increasing complexity and scale of cyber risks driven by digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
Participants receive access to expert consultation, mentorship from experienced professionals, and support in refining both product development and business strategy. The programme also helps teams prepare for attracting investment, increasing sales potential, and building strong market readiness.
Preference is given to solutions aligned with priority areas such as artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, security of artificial intelligence systems, post-quantum cryptography, cybersecurity automation, and threat analysis and forecasting, although all cybersecurity-related ideas are encouraged to apply.
The Cyber Accelerator aims to strengthen innovation capacity in cybersecurity by supporting promising teams in turning early-stage ideas into scalable and market-ready solutions.
