NIA Medical and Healthcare Innovation Incubation and Sandbox Programs (Thailand)

Deadline: September 14, 2025

The National Innovation Agency in collaboration with the Thai Health Tech Trade Association (Health Tech Startup Thailand) and partners in medical innovation districts nationwide invites entrepreneurs in the medical and health technology innovation base (MedTech / HealthTech), both Startup SMEs and SEs, to apply to participate in business incubation activities (Incubation Program) and business matching for usability testing (Sandbox Program) under the Thailand Innovation Hub Development Project.

The focus is to create opportunities for growth in medical and healthcare innovation businesses, apply to join the Incubation/Sandbox Program to enhance potential and expand the market for growth.

The Business Incubation Program is open to legal entities registered in Thailand with at least 51 percent Thai nationality shareholders, who are in the process of developing an innovative product or service prototype. This program supports transforming ideas into businesses that solve challenges in the medical and health sectors, moving from idea prototypes toward business growth. Applicants must submit company details and a Pitch Deck showcasing the concept of innovative medical and health businesses to apply by September 14, 2025.

The Sandbox Program focuses on business matching and usability testing for juristic persons registered in Thailand with no less than 51 percent Thai nationality shareholders. It is designed for those with products or services ready to be launched or already in the market. Participants will collaborate with real customers to test usability, expand their market reach, and gain guidance from business and technology experts. This program does not involve classroom learning but emphasizes practical market expansion. Interested applicants must submit company details and a Pitch Deck highlighting their ready-to-market products or services by September 14, 2025.

The activity schedule begins with open applications until September 14, 2025, followed by participant selection from September 15 to 30, 2025. Business incubation and usability testing activities will take place from October 2025 to January 2026, with a final exhibition and presentation (Demo Day) scheduled for February 2026. Participation is free of charge.
